Project Activities

The project aims to conduct a survey to assess the extent and magnitude of smoking and the psychosocial factors that connect contexts to smoking behaviour among AHWs in SA.

Through interviews and focus groups we will identify factors relevant to smoking cessation and intervention delivery.

The quantitative and qualitative information will be used to develop, implement and evaluate a culturally appropriate smoking cessation intervention for AHWs in SA.
