Membership
Membership is free, you just need to complete and submit the online form below. Information from the form will be used to develop your membership profile and give you the means of communicating with other members, for example by posting messages in the members section of our website.
Personal information
The membership application form is divided into sections.
The information you provide in the "Public Profile" (below) will be visible to other members. This allows members to find and contact each other. All of the fields in this section (apart from your name) are optional.
The information you provide in the "Private Profile" (above) is for administration purposes, and is only visible to the CEITC site administrator.
Your personal information will only be used for the purposes stated above and will not be disclosed for commercial or other purposes by our organisation. We follow the guidelines developed by the Australian Privacy Commissioner for government websites (Guidelines for Federal and ACT Government World Wide Websites).
Messages posted to the web site
It is expected that members of the CEITC Network will not post any messages that are obscene, racist, vulgar, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, or that may in other ways violate any laws. All posted messages express the views of the author. The CEITC do not endorse the content, viewpoint, accuracy or opinions expressed, and will not be held responsible for the content of any message. We reserve the right to refuse to display inappropriate messages.
Indigenous Status
We would like to ensure that the CEITC Network is relevant to the information needs of Indigenous people working and studying in areas related to Indigenous tobacco control.
If you choose to indicate below that you are Indigenous it will simply give us an idea of the extent to which the CEITC Network is used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We have provided a range of options to allow you to identify in the way you feel is most appropriate.
Conditions
At the bottom of the Private Profile you will be asked to agree that you have read and understood the conditions outlined for (1) providing personal information to CEITC, and (2) appropriate use of the CEITC Network web site.
